I am an attorney practicing immigration law in South Florida.
My practice advocates for the rights of those who would otherwise not have access to the information necessary to successfully represent themselves. I offer legal representation, legal advice, and legal strategy for those in need of various immigration services. On Family Matters, I handle divorces.
I was born in Vitoria, Espirito Santo, Brazil, where I was raised and spent my childhood. I arrived in the US as a teenager with my parents and little sister, and I have since been immersed in the rich and diverse Latin culture that graces South Florida. My life experience as an immigrant in America provides me with a deep and unique understanding of the legal issues and challenges that face the Hispanic and Latino communities of South Florida, and I have dedicated my career to helping people like my family.
I believe that you deserve a lawyer who truly understands your culture, as well as speaks your language.
After receiving a Bachelors in Business Management and a Minor in Marketing from Florida Atlantic University, I attended Nova Southeastern University School, Shepard Law Center, where I received my Juris Doctor. During my time at Nova, I was honored to serve as a General Member and a Submitting Editor of the Nova Law Review Honor Society, where I honed my ability to write and revise scholastic legal articles. I completed the Shepard School of Law’s Honor Program with more than 200 hours of pro bono work.
I am an active member of my community in Broward County, where I live with my family: my Cuban husband Joseph, our toddler Isabella, and my stepchildren Sarah and Chris. We have two small dogs, Gracie and Lola.
